Luxury real estate French Riviera experts, Carlton International, present Villa Guide in Cap d’Antibes, a new addition to the Carlton International exclusive villa-hotel collection.
Villa Guide is a 17th century manor built upon the beautiful peninsula of Cap d’Antibes. The property was originally owned by a local French family and has since been passed down the generations. Built under traditional Provençal specifications, Villa Guide has the charm of the region and has lovingly been maintained as such. Despite its size (760m 2 of interior surface area among 3,500m 2 of land), the peaceful setting and quaint architectural design renders it an altogether more rural estate. Its natural charm was not lost on Carlton International. The luxury real estate specialists now rent the house to lucky families and groups visiting the magnificent Cote d’Azur. Despite changing hands, Carlton International have maintained Villa Guide’s classic French real estate heritage while successfully blending it with modern luxury living through careful renovations.
Now, Villa Guide stands proudly as a luxury 10 bedroom property between the glamorous French Riviera resorts of Cannes and Nice. To celebrate, Carlton International hosted an exclusive art event at Villa Guide on the evening of Saturday 6th December. 180 members of luxury press and real estate communities were invited to browse the works of contemporary artists to the private cocktail event. Guests were welcomed to the event by managing director of Carlton International, Philip Weiser. “I would like to thank all of you for coming to the exclusive opening of the luxurious Villa Guide” he said before declaring that Carlton International would be opening its next office in St Paul de Vence in the new year.
The Villa Guide is located only 100 metres from quiet beaches and lies within walking distance of the medieval town of Antibes. Set among nearly half an acre of landscaped gardens, complete with a swimming pool, you will find a beautiful villa. The facade is a grandiose three tier manor that looms high, but around the back, a sweeping staircase flows gently down to the green grass from a curved rotunda entrance hall. The Entrance hall itself serves on the one hand the dining room and kitchen and on the other hand, the bar, the double reception room and all the bedrooms located on this floor.
Descend an elegant staircase, and you reach the Junior Garden Suite and the Family Suite, both located at garden level and both spectacularly illuminated by gaping French windows. Meanwhile, the villa’s top floor accommodates the Presidential suite. Characterised by high ceilings and deep rooms, all of the bedrooms on these floors and in between are luxury personified.
Villa Guide also boasts numerous decadent living spaces: two large brightly decorated dining rooms, compliment the manor’s two kitchens and bar. There are also two living rooms with comfortable sofas and an expansive terrace, ideal for lounging in the sun.
On top of the property’s luxury interior, Villa Guide also offers guests five-star hotel services including Bruno Oger, a private Michelin starred chef and Patrick Tobelem, the former concierge of the famous Eden-Roc hotel in Cap d’Antibes. Together they will immerse you in the culture of the South of France, with tantalising Mediterranean flavours from regional markets and a wealth of local and international contacts.
