The latest data published shows that Fraser Yachts has once again secured by far the largest share of the superyacht market in 2013, and continues to increase the lead it has held over other yacht brokerage houses for the last four years.
The report by the industry’s leading source of statistical information shows that the company sold 50% more yachts than its closest competitor and closed 30% more deals than in 2012, a substantial increase compared to other brokerage houses.
Boat International’s “Market Intelligence” report for 2013 has shown that Fraser Yachts has once again secured the largest share of the superyacht market. The brokerage has lead the field for four years and 2013 figures confirm that they continue to increase the lead held over other yacht brokerage houses.
The increase in sales hit just after the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2013 with Fraser Yachts selling 24 yachts in the last four months of the year.
The total number of yachts sold in 2013 increased by over 30% compared to the number sold in the previous year, by far the largest year on year increase since the recession hit and a very good sign for the industry as a whole.
Fabio Ermetto, Chairman of Fraser Yachts said, “The numbers speak for themselves, if you want to buy a yacht or have your existing yacht sold why go anywhere else?”
Ermetto also commented “We have a very strong sales team here and this is proven year after year by the statistics that are published by neutral sources. Our brokers expertise and inside knowledge, combined with our extensive database and marketing expertise leads to successful results time and again.”
